SL LIving Expo Music & Performances

The SL Living Expo is an annual event held in support of Relay For Life.  Entertainment is an important element in order to attract visitors to the convention who may not have otherwise been aware of some of the participating groups/stores, but also a great way to bring in donations.

This is a RFL sponsored event. You will not be paid for your time since this is for charity.

You are not allowed to rez a tip jar or accept tips. All donations must be made to an official SL Living Expo RFL kiosk.

All events must adhere to a PG-13 rating. Minimum acceptable clothing for performers and attendees is a bikini for women, and swim trunks/Speedos for men. Performances must not contain an excessive amount of vulgar or offensive language/material.

The SL Living Expo is a globally inclusive event intended to further the community, have fun, and raise money for the American Cancer Society. We do not tolerate discriminatory behavior, acts of protest, hate speech, or derogatory talk by performers and attendees.

You can rez your own items. For main stage areas, you have a limit of 100 prims and must fit on the provided stage. For special exceptions, you use your own stage and you have a limit of 1000 prims. This will need to be discussed and approved by the Event Team.

Be sure you have enough room to accept an invite to the SL Living Expo land group. This will grant permissions to rez. Please be sure to let us know if any other individuals assisting you also need an invite.

Please be online and available 60 minutes before the start of your scheduled time. If you are not online and you do not check in (see below), we reserve the right to free up your spot for another entertainer.

Either you or your host (if applicable) should check in on the SL Living Expo land group at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. If you fail to check in, we reserve the right to free up your time slot to another entertainer.

You can start rezzing in the backstage area 60 minutes before your show starts. If you need additional time, please work with the Event Crew Leadership to determine the best event location so you can rez without interfering with another event.

As your event is about to end, please be aware of and promote the next event on the schedule in order to encourage guests to attend the next event.

After your scheduled event ends, please pick up your own prims or ask a member of the SL Living Expo staff to assist with returning your items.

The Event Crew and SL Living Expo leadership reserves the right to observe any scheduled events to verify the quality of the performance is conducted at the highest possible level, is adhering to the rules, and does not diminish or tarnish the SL Living Expo or RFL.
